kelly-pitts-the-game

This week saw fans of ‘The Game’ rejoice when Kelly Pitts (played by Brittany Daniel) strutted back on to the hit BET show.

After all, when the Daniel disappeared from the show abruptly in the break between season 4 and 5, many were shocked at the suddenness of her departure – yet more surprised by the lack of explanation.

And while many sources cited the dreaded “contract disputes” as the cause, Daniel has revealed to PEOPLE this week that it was indeed Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer than kept her off of the screen for three years.

Peep excerpts from the report below.

Well, one can be sure talk-show host Wendy Williams did, after she narrowly avoided a war of words with the ‘Real Housewife’, after she said she didn’t believe she’d win the Dance contest.

Meow.

Porsha Williams has been called many names, yet silent isn’t one of them.

During a recent visit to Atlanta’s V103 radio station to promote new single ‘Flatline’, The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star took a moment to address the stinging comments TV host Wendy Williams has been darting her way of late.

Indeed, as regular viewers of The Wendy Williams Show will note, the outspoken media maven rarely holds back when discussing Porsha – christening her “less than smart” on more occasions than not.

When quizzed by hosts Wanda and Ryan about her reaction to the comment, Porsha threw political correctness out of the window and laid into Wendy with a few choice words of her own.

To say Lady GaGa‘s ‘ARTPOP’ project has been disorganised would be the grossest of understatements. Indeed, beyond so-so sales, public disfavour, and managerial departures, the LP has only spawned one video – the clip for last Summer’s ‘Applause’.

That all changes Saturday, though. For, as reported, the singer is set to uncage the visual for the project’s latest single.

Up until now, details as to which track is receiving the video treatment were unknown. However, it has been confirmed moments ago that the song in question is…. ‘G.U.Y’.

Find out when and where the track will debut after the jump…

Much to the dismay of the UK’s R&B loyalists, the last decade has failed to deliver a US entertainer from the genre to rock their market in ways done by the likes of Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown– and at one point- Ciara.

Set to change once Miguel sets his sights on international acclaim with his forthcoming LP, this week saw Sevyn Streeter fly her genre’s flag on British soil,  doing so with her Chris Brown-backed number, ‘It Won’t Stop.’
