Get familiar with Rita Ora, Roc Nation’s latest debutante.

Hailing all the way from London town, the Albanian bombshell first caught the world’s eye when she starred in Drake‘s ‘Over‘ video back in 2010.

This was preceded by the 21 year old’s appearance in ‘Forever Young‘, the video by long time friend and mentor Jay-Z, who is readying the release of Ora‘s debut LP this year.

Billed by some fans as a talented alternative to Rihanna, the star kicked off her promo campaign this week with a stint ID Magazine, which is now available to watch below (along with her video for promo single ‘Hot Right Now’).

Last night, armed with a 36 piece orchestra and a heart full of a emotion, Jay Z performed ‘Glory’ live for the very first time,at New York’s Carnegie Hall.

Dedicated to his daughter ‘Blue Ivy’, his set followed these shots of his wife Beyonce that emerged from the same event, marking the first time the star had been seen in public since giving birth.

‘You Da One’ yodeler Rihanna has found herself yet again attempting to sell (and sail) the sinking ship that is ‘Talk That Talk’.  In another bid to keep sales of the critically ashamed project afloat, the ‘BattleShip’ starlet is looking to make a splash by gifting a full version of a fan favorite from the collection – ‘Birthday Cake’.

Arguably one of the album’s better offerings, Riri was quizzed in December about when listeners should expect a full version of the sexy tune to which she replied:

I promised! 1st on the agenda ’12 #CAKE

Now, nearly two months later, (if sources prove correct) that wish may finally be coming true:

Jay-Z has been on the lips of many since the birth of his and Beyonce‘s daughter, Blue Ivy, two weeks ago. Attention which reached fever-pitch upon the release of the emotionally-charged ‘Glory’.

However, as expected, the fiercely private couple have been out of the spotlight throughout – that is until last night.

Jigga, beaming ear to ear, was snapped arriving at the re-opening of his 40/40 club in New York. Fans outside the venue reportedly expressed their congratulations to the 42 year old mogul, who simply responded ”thank you”. A statement Baby Blue will no doubt be making once she’s old enough to bask in record-breaking appearance on ‘Glory’.

Seemingly taking a leaf from her ‘Pon De Replay’ days, Bajan beauty Rihanna flaunts her best talent (silence) in these sizzling promo shots for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans.  Already fronting the fashion frontrunner’s commercials and earlier campaigns, this clothing collabo is one of the many ventures Riri and Armani are said to be conjuring up for Bloomingdales and Macy’s alike.

Naturally, the assumption is that a career hiatus is imminent. Yet, the 30 year old boasts a work-ethic like no other – making an “elongated break” unlikely.
