As reported here, ‘Moment 4 Life’ maestra Nicki Minaj is set to be Allure magazine’s April covergirl. Set to hit stands March 20th, the issue has already gained a bevy of buzz from the rapstress comments to fellow Hip Hop hitmaker Jay Z when she said:

“I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. He said, ‘Congratulations on all your success.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m coming for you. I’m coming for your spot, Mr. Mogul.’”

While the aforementioned remains to be seen, one thing Minaj is certainly coming for are record shelves on April 3rd with her sophomore set ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’. Before then, get into these new colorful Spring snaps lifted from the magazine’s shoot with the Young Money maven:

Hot Shots: Rihanna Touches Down In LA

After spending the last two weeks working in the UK, Rihanna touched down in LA last night , alongside best friend Melissa.

Casually dressed and looking a little under the weather, Fenty arrives in the US weeks before the release of her new video, ‘Talk That Talk’ featuring Roc boss Jay Z.

New Song: Rita Ora – ‘R.I.P (ft. Tinie Tempah)’

ROC Nation have rolled out the red carpet treatment for latest priori (and reported Rihanna replacement) Rita Ora.

Last week saw Jay Z personally launch the 21 year old and her Stateside single ‘Party & B*llshit’ at the US’ biggest radio station. Today sees the premiere of the Brit beauty’s first official UK single ‘R.I.P’.

Crafted by an all-star cast, Drake penned the track, which was co-produced by both Stargate and Chase & Status. What’s more, fellow Brit Tinie Tempah features.

‘On to the next one’ as husband Jay Z once said.

Despite not even finishing work on the forthcoming Clint Eastwood-directed remake of ‘A Star Is Born’, reports surface that pop megastar Beyonce is one of many A listers tapped for casting of the new movie ‘One Hit Wonders’. Joined by best gal pal Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon are also reportedly set to star in the movie based on singers whose careers failed them after one hit in the 1990s. Consequently, the trio band together to become a supergroup.

Bey’s role in the movie has yet been made clear, but if the cast and the film’s director (‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy) are anything to judge by, the movie looks to be a knockout! The news surface shortly after reports that Mommy Blue is also looking to return to the music scene this year following the release of ‘Born’.

Hot Shots: Beyonce & Blue Ivy Take Another Stroll

“Strong enough to bare them children, then get back to business”

Indeed, that’s exactly what Beyonce seems to be doing.

Never one to sit down, the tour de force -who gave birth just last month-was snapped out and about again with Billboard record-breaker Blue Ivy.

Armed with bodyguard Julius, the ‘Crazy In Love’ singer rocked the same outfit as the day prior, when she has husband Jay-Z made their first public outing with their young one.

This go round we hear the star was meeting up with family and running errands. We patiently await the time she’ll ready to do what she does best – run the stage.

Dressed in blue and concealing the child with what appears to be a sweater, the sighting marks the first time the family have been spotted out together since Blue’s birth last month.

Hollywood power couple Jay Z and Beyonce were snapped in their first public appearance together since birth of baby Blue Ivy over a month ago. A favorite pasttime of the performers, the duo was seen courtside enjoying a Nets Vs. Knicks game (thanks YBF):

Fans may remember when the ‘Baby Boy’ beauty unveiled her post-baby body at Jay’s triumphant Carnegie Hall two-night show a few weeks ago. That outing, like this, mark two of many fans should expect to see of the diva in the coming months as she is already back at work preparing two projects for a 2012 release.
