Recognised two of the greatest voices of all-time, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston are as compared and they celebrated. But it’s the latter which Carey has chosen to do for her fellow diva and friend following her passing earlier this month.
Seven days removed from Houston’s emotional “home-going”, 41 year old Mimi has taken to Youtube to share a touching video tribute, featuring special moments with Whitney.

Touted as rivals, yet eventually friends, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston had quite the storied history.
As such, Whitney’s passing ten days ago saw her ‘When You Believe’ collaborator cancel a number of appearances including one on Good Morning America – which she instead honored today.

Snapped making her way on set, she was greeted by hoards of fans before finally sitting down to dish on her upcoming project, how Houston’s death has affected her and her husband’s health.

Rapper/Media Personality Nick Cannon revealed today, via his morning radio show, that two blood clots found in his lung and an enlarged ventricle on the right side of his heart forced his hospitalization last Friday. The report surfaces one month after Cannon’s episode with ‘mild kidney failure’ (photo above).

The first single lifted from her 12th studio album “MDNA”, due March 26, only extended the singer’s etch in history books as original gain of the record came from 2008′s ’4 Minutes To Save the World’ (her 37th top 10).
While Barbadian pop princess Rihanna bumped Madge from atop her other Billboard record (most top 10s in shortest time) by only 5 months, she does not stand as a present threat to dethrone the diva from this newly secured placement.
