Despite landing the first #1 run of her solo career atop the Billboard 200 with her latest album ‘This Is What the Truth Feels Like,’ Gwen Stefani‘s failed to make music lovers feel the singles launched from set.

After missing the top 50 on the Hot 100 twice with lead singles ‘Used To Love You’ and ‘Make Me Like You’ respectively, Stefani may finally be onto a homerun with ‘Truth’s third single ‘Misery.’  Putting her best foot forward with the song’s glossy video, an ode to the golden era of Hollywood, the stunning 46-year-old just may prove the third time’s the charm.

Tyler Perry Comedy Hits US Theaters October 21st



Tyler Perry‘s Madea franchise is back and heading to movie theaters.

‘Boo! A Madea Halloween’ hits the big screen on October 21st and is billed as sees the much loved matriarch spend “a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.”

Perry will write, produce, direct, and star in the film – the origins of which date back to when Perry and Chris Rock conspired to include a spoof Madea Halloween movie in Rock’s film ‘Top Five.‘ Thereafter, Lionsgate approached Perry to make the movie for real.

Album Arrives July 1st Via Columbia


For some, seven signifies perfection. And with Maxwell having not released an album in as many years, the hope is that his latest LP will deliver.

Set for a July 1st release, ‘blackSUMMERS’night’ is the sequel to 2009’s ‘BLACKsummers’night’ and is preceded by exquisite lead single ‘Lake By The Ocean.’

To ensure the LP makes a splash upon its arrival, the soulful crooner will headline the 2016 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. He also announced today that he’ll be taking to the stage at the 2016 BET Awards on June 26th.
