I always felt ‘LoveStoned’ was one of the better tracks from Justin Timberlake’s sophomore effort ‘Future Sex/Love Sounds’. However the video is just not cutting it. Sub-par at best, the vid comes across as cheap and rushed. Maybe after the big-budget videos for ‘SexyBack’ and ‘What Goes Around’, the label didn’t have much (funds) to work with? Whatever the case, this is a disappointment.

can u blame the label? “futuresexlovesounds” is out of the top 10, there for, they have other, bigger albums to focus on
What’s wrong with it? It think it looks good, makes a change from all the glamorous cars and girls that you see a lot these days. It does look a little like window’s movie player, or iTunes visualiser. But much better.
It is not a low budget video!!!! Stuff like this is not as simple as cutting and pasting you know…
I agree….I think the effects are cool, but there isnt any substance too them.
I am disappointed too….and it was one of my fav tracks as well.
If the album is sinking on the charts, you’d think they would have put a bigger effort into it…..hoping to boost it again.

it’s a little hard on the eyes after awhile, but I think it’s kinda cool… more imaginative then your typical ‘in the club” video these days…

IT’S NOT THAT THE ALBUM ISN’T SELLING, THE THING HAS ALREADY SOLD, BEEN UP FOR TOP GRAMMY’S AND EVERYTHING. THIS IS THE WHAT, 5TH OR 6TH SINGLE, THE SINGLE BEFORE THIS IS IN THE TOP 10 ON THE BILLBOARD HOT 100. THIS ALBUM HAD TO HAVE SOLD MORE THAN 3X PLATINUM. HE NEEDS TO TOUR, OR WORK ON A MOVIE OR ANOTHER ALBUM!!
i agree – it sux! this is my favorite song on the cd… and the lyrics promised something saucy… and we get this? if i wanted this, i can put justin in the background of my windows media effects. booooo!
the video is fine. it’s symbolic. he’s coming from inside the soundwave and towards the end he brings the viewer into the light with him…
listen to the lyrics, realize that he’s singing not only about a girl a woman but about music and the music industry (symbolically) and maybe even the whole notion of celebrity.
it’s a cool concept. and sometimes, simplicity is best. 🙂
Visually the video looks coola nd the special effects are hot. But it doesn’t match the song. I would’ve expected a video like this for “SexyBack”. And the “I think she knows” section looks super whack. Dude looks like he has Cancer. (No disrespect to anybody who has or has had Cancer).
“Love stoned / I think she knows” are my fave cuts off his album, so it sucks for him he did such crappy videos. He should’ve done an old skool, club style video with some hot choreography. Something like “SMooth criminal”, only more funky and light hearted.
