I really have to give it to Akon – the man knows how to make money. Following the controversy surrounding the ‘dry-humping’ incident involving him and a teenage girl, the Senegalese star released this track ‘Sorry, Blame It On Me’ to radio. Then, I assumed it was contrived way of easing the criticism he was receiving. However, along with this video, the song will be released as the leading single from the re-packaged version of Akon’s ‘Konvicted’ album – due August 28th. The video isn’t saying too much, yet I doubt that was the objective. Like most of his singles, this will probably be a hit…SMH.
What do you think of the song/video?

Is it just me, or again, is he REFUSING to acknowledge that he was wrong. It seems as if he is trying to take advantage of the situation, making out that it’s not his fault BUT he’ll still take the blame. Idiot.
I love his music, but as a person he is truly someone whom I wouldn’t want to know.
