Kelly Rowland stopped by BET’s 106 & Park to finally premiere the video for her new single ‘Ghetto’. The former Destiny’s Child singer also promoted her forthcoming tour with Mario, as well as speaking on the ‘Ms. Kelly’ re-release. She confirmed that she is currently recording new tracks and is about to go into the studio with Nate ‘Danja’ Hills (‘Gimme More’, ‘SexyBack’ and ‘Promiscuous’).

The vid has been out for a minute, so it’s good to see her doing some kind of promotion for it. About the re-release, I’m very optimistic – it seems like she’s drafting in the heavy hitters.

she really brought it with the ‘miss kelly’ album – one of my fave records of the year, I always thought she had the best voice of DC (not as shouty & screamy as beyonce; more suttle & s***) she deserves to do well.
I personally don’t really care for the Ghetto song, but I like Kelly. I hope the rerelease does well.
I love “Ghetto” and “The Show” I wish she woulda done more tracks with Tank because they coulda replaced a few of the boring tracks off Ms. Kelly like “Love” and “This Is Love”. I can’t wait to hear the tracks she did with Danja, I love Kelly!

I love all the members of DC but be real Beyonce had the best voice hands down. If she didn’t then why is she more successful as a solo artist? But Kelly can sang too and I hope her rerelease doesn’t flop b/c she should be doing better for someone who’s in the best selling female group of all time. Good luck Kelly!

I don’t think that Beyonce’s was the best voice of DC. Kelly has the best voice (the quality and tone of her voice is far better than Beyonce’s). Beyonce is the more uninhibited singer (she never holds back and she knows how to run and rift like the best of them). Both women can sing but Beyonce’s voice is to abrasive at times and she often sounds like she’s shouting. Kelly’s voice is as smooth as silk,yet she has power and range but she holds back ALOT. As pretty as her voice is she doesn’t always sing like someone who has been apart of this business for over ten years,sometimes she sounds like an amateur;which is not cool for someone who has been apart of the industry for as long as she has. However,her VOICE is still BETTER than Beyonce’s.
I once read an article where Beyonce said she wished she had a voice like Kelly. Beyonce said she thinks her voice is very strong but Kelly’s voice is so powerful and clear. Even Beyonce has said that Kelly’s the one with the best voice but Kelly does hold back. Sometimes she acts like she is scared to sing.
B has a strong voice, kellys voice is not the type of voice we need now. we need a strong voice, her voals are just alright u can here from still in love with my ex at times she sounded out of breath. she doesnt look good without her curly hair. she worked with scot storch, tank, snoop , eve. i dont care who she works with i know kelly will flop again. we are all keeping it real right
