With Danity Kane’s sophomore effort just months away from release, a new track from the Bad Boy collective has surfaced. ‘2 Of You’ stands as the first piece of new material to come from the group since the release of their self-titled debut. About the track; I’m not really feeling it. ‘Generic’ is the term which pretty much sums up everything about the song IMO; production, lyrics, vocals, everything…it’s just blah. Here’s hoping their new album isn’t as passable as this.Hit Or Miss?

I think you described it the best, when I heard it I didn’t know what to say about but my mouse wouldn’t allow me to download it.
DK is a very strong group but a lot of their music is weak. I was able to hear their CD and it was okay it wasn’t all that good to me.
The song that I think shows what they are cable of is “Ride For You” and whoever that was as the lead singer on that track is fire.
I think in order for them to release a good record they have to have a good production and whoever was working with them on this track just isn’t doing it.
I LOOOVE DANITY KANE!! I love how Wanita aka D.Woods and Andrea sound but i mean DAMN can Shannon get some burn and lil more Aubrey (that’s for the entire cd not just this song) and sooooooooooooooooooo much less Dawn!! Diddy has this distinct voince s*** going on with his groups, but the lyrics for when dawn sings are wack, i’m going to jam to this, this is going right on the ipod!!!
i thought ride for you was a good track on their debut album but the second single should have been either one shot, or right now. dk is amazing group i saw them peform and they are the hottest girl group out there. oh yeah and the lead singer in the song would have to be aundrea
Dawn is taking lead on this song. The ad libs toward the end in D.Woods. This song is well…….it could have been better. Not sure what direction they are headed in but I hope it’s not this one.

well we all know danity kane is a huge joke but the music to this song is off the hook. its a shame the producer wasted it on Kane

As soon as it started i was thinking it ws Diddy’s Last Night, naww not feeling it but maybe it will grow on me, and yes please less Dawn can’t stand her voice, they should have released more than two singles from their debut album but i blame Diddy too busy promoting himself, their first album was good but if this is all they got for the second sorry they aoin’t getting my money
well i think its jus average. it is not song 4 tha second album it doesnt show much growth. its really poppy its something that those BRATZ dollz (that im a rock star song) band would sing if you know wot i mean. i defininitly do not advise it to be a first single. personally they i think they need to back n think dis one ova i give it 3/10
