In an interview with our good friends over at SOHH, Estelle addressed the recent media reports regarding her label’s alleged demand for her to change her look – more specifically her teeth and hair:
It’s good to know that there wasn’t any truth to the claims. Estelle’s unique style, as well as her candid, to-the-point persona, really is a breath of fresh air in what is becoming an increasingly samey, standardized industry.

glad the reports weren’t true. She really is a breath of fresh air. I’m sure Estelle wouldn’t have gone to another label who tells her to change, like her old UK label wanted to make her the UK’s version of Gwen Stefani.
Doesn’t anyone remember that they wanted to make Terri Walker into the UK’s Beyonce by giving her a weave and pop songs to sing, and she flopped even harder!!!
