New Video: Omarion – ‘I Get It In’

Published: Monday 9th Nov 2009 by Trent

R&B singer Omarion has finally released the full version of  video for his new single ‘I Get It In’ featuring ‘it’ rapper of the moment Gucci Mane. The song, which was produced by Tank, has thus far peaked at #99 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #29 on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts. Omarion’s new album ‘Ollusion’ hits stores on January 12th 2010.

What was that supposed to be? Judging by the preview of the video (seen here), I was not expecting to be blown away but this is simply insulting. From the dated choreography to the overuse of tricks, I felt like I was watching a rejected audition tape from ‘America’s Best Dance Crew‘. The mere fact that he dedicated this to Michael Jackson only makes matters even worse. A couple years back, Bow Wow got very upset when an interviewer asked Omarion if he copied Chris Brown. Well now I am certain that he does not as this video proves that Chris is in a completely different league. O could’t even get the moon walk right! Hot mess.

Thoughts?

    R U SERIOUS,
the vid lacked consistancy an an actual theme… but the dancing was NOT played

i think you need to re-evaluate the dancers of today and understand that Omarion is one of the best, Chris Brown is indeed better, but O isnt that Far off, the moonwalk he did without question, so evidentally it looks as if you either didnt study the video right OR you just dont infact understand the actual moonwalk.

It is rare that anybody male other than chris brown dances on this level in a music video, so i think you should give him props, and stop hating.

damn your straight up hating on Omarion! the choreography was on point, i dont see what was wrong with the moonwalk neither. Chris isnt leagues above Omarion your review seemed very biased

The video is obviously lower budget than anything Chris Brown gets…but I thought this blog didn’t like when someone gets a lot of label money thrown at them? (oh wait that’s just Rihanna…)

Sorta-budget video aside, the song is at least better than “I can transform ya” – and Omarion has never beat the s*** out of a girl! (as far as we know)

the only thing goos about this video was the part when he did that bad moonwalk imatation, and showed off his phatty…besides his b***, Omarion doesnt do it 4 me at all.

The concept was extra boring, but the dancing was sharp and tight.

uhh sam i really don’t see what was so off and played about the choreography. there was nothing wrong with his moonwalk, and omarion is a really good dancer. i think you just drank a lil too much haterade before you watched this video

Obvious Chris shines better then O. Have you guys not seen DROP IT LOW?? Omarion is basically invisible in the dance break down. LMAO!

Not heard the song before and i’m not into it. Does he not understand he’s a singer not a man who chats on a track.

    Hi Haters!

This song is hot and so is the video and the choreo is on point. The only thing that’s a “hot mess” is that tacky ass review you did on this video!!
Omarion’s “Touch” video s***’s on any video that Chris has ever done!! People talking about O stole Chris’ moves & copying his style, I don’t think so, O was out way before Chris and Omarion is the better dancer.

this vid suck but c b rown never did nothing better than touch by Omarion. Omarion is a better dancer, he’s just short. MJ was tall and thin so is C brown, but Cbrown can t touch MJ and omarion.

As a Judge on one of those many dance shows would said “We know you can dance. It’s time to bring more to the table”. PS. Bad song. Bad video.

If I had to watch Om or CB dance, I would choose CB. Case closed.

Well i was impressed with the dancin I did find dat the video itself lacked a actual concept and needed something better than him weightlifting girls,. Its sad to see such a good song go to waste wit a video like that, I expected a lot more . and as far as O as a artist I felt like he ran out of ideas Icebox being the best video he eva did to date he had to come so much harder rtan that hopefully it will get betta before it gets worse GOOD LUCK O LUV YA
