   I like this, just a simple video to tell the story. It looks like it is shot beautifully.. I think Neyo is going to really enahance the song and Mariah will surely do her thing.

    Maybe the video of this song is going to portray the beginnings of her career and her and Mottola’s relationship gone bad… etc… idk just a thought

    Well it’s safe to say now Memoirs has officially flopped. Read it and weep lambs. I love Mariah too but she had this coming. You can’t make lackluster material with little to no effort and expect your fans to come thorugh each time.

    Can’t blame it on the leaks. Whitney’s album was leaked also and it still did better

    Can’t blame it on the promotion. Both Whitney and Mariah were on Oprah but look who’s album did better.

    Can’t blame it on the singles. Mariah’s Obessed was a hit peaking at #7. Whitney had no hit singles.

    The bottom line is, Memoirs is garbage. It’s all about the material. If WOM is your album sucks, it’s not gonna do well. It’s that simple.

    Mariah needs a long overdue hiatus. I recommend a good 4 years. Maybe she should have a baby with Nick, lose the baby fat, get a tummy tuck, little botox, then head back into the studio to start working on material again. Maybe the time off and the experience of being a new mother will inspire her to produce better material and stop working with these hip-hop producers.

    They key to her comeback will be reinvention. Perhaps take a card from the Madonna playbook. She needs to have an epiphany and let go of Mimi. The public wants Mariah back.

    Mariah doesn’t need to take any tips from Madonna, thank you very much. She has never been about the different images and the hoopla that surrounds it. Mariah just needs to keep doing her. I like the fact that shes a lil overweight and I also like the fact that she’s sticking to her guns and making music she likes. She will do better in the long run for it. At the end of the day, you can compare her album to Whitney’s, but the albums are very differenet. However, if you wanna go there, all I can say is that Whitney’s album is pure rubbish. It sounds like a bunch of B sides recorded by Deborah C** in the 90’s. The only reason Whitney’s album did well, is because Clive Davis brilliantly co ordinated her ‘comeback’ and marketed her to a T. The fact of the matter is, Mariah could release a golden record with an amazing video right now, and it would flop, jus pure and simply because the public are fed up with her. She should take 3 years off, and come back. She’s done that before and its worked, and she can do that again, cos she has the talent to make it happen.
