With her ‘Telephone (Ft. Beyonce)’ video enjoying massive success, Lady GaGa has issued a bold statement regarding her next studio album. The singer, who celebrated her 24th birthday this weekend, calls the LP “the anthem of our generation”. GaGa also revealed that she has already written the 1st single for the record. Here is what she had to say:
“I saw this little box of messages, and I thought I would say hello and I love you. I promise it’s me. I love you all so much. I wanted to say thank you and give you a present.
“I’ve already written the first single for the new album. And I promise you, that this album is the greatest of my career. it is the anthem of our generation. I wrote it for you. Because of you, when I was in Liverpool, I wrote the greatest music I’ve ever written.”
Gaga ended by saying she’ll come back to Gaga Daily to announce the title of her third set, adding,”I don’t want to spoil it yet!” {Source}
GaGa just continues to raise the bar for herself with every release. It is certainly an admirable quality to see a new artist, who has already enjoyed massive success, push herself to new levels of creativity. In fact, there has not been an new act who has delivered a string of consistent hits like this since a young Mariah Carey or Madonna. Indeed, GaGa has yet to disappoint and if she continues on this path, she will certainly soon find her name among many of music’s greats.
