R&B star Monica will no doubt be celebrating today; the Grammy winner’s latest LP ‘Still Standing’ has been certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 – just four weeks after it’s release.
Meanwhile, the album’s lead single ‘Everything to Me’ sits atop of the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Chart for an impressive 5th consecutive week.

In an industry which sees the flavour of the month top the charts and then disappear, it’s awesome to see a true talent such as Monica holding strong. How refreshing it is to see great music and artists getting the recognition they deserve. Platinum is looking an almost certainty, with the album ‘still standing’ strong in the top ten.
