Randomness: Important to stress; no one is throwing shade, rather acknowledging that Mariah’s attempts at some of her more vocally demanding hits of yesteryear often don’t yield great results. In Ms. Carey-Cannon’s defence, though, she’s wisely tailored her newer offerings (‘Emancipation’ era onwards) to fitting her ‘new’, more limited voice. Whatever works, ay?
