I’m loving the 20seconds I have heard so far. it reminds me of “closer” with its dance vibe, which is a very good thing.
chile this sounds like he tried to fuse lady gaga with beyonce? Because gaga has a song called monster and bey has sweet dreams (beautiful nightmare). He gets a 0 in the originality department, but i still love his sound and he’s talented in his own right.
Ne-Yo should pull a Ricky Martin and come out of the closet with the release of this album. Test the loyalty of his fan base.
Ehmm..I guess I were right about him NEVER EVER changin up the style of his music. Its Plane boring. And the funny thing is that he would write compose great music for fellow music artists..I aint checking for his new album!

That was just trash! I know its only a 30 seconds clip but damn. Ne-Yo kills me with his s*** music. All that writing talent and he never comes hard.
Am I the only one who is annoyed by the resent surge of R&B and HipHop acts jumping on this electropop bandwagon? This s*** sounds tacky, like it was fished out of Adam Lambert’s toilet. Leave that stiff/rhythm-less/erratic synth/100 bpm/emo boy dance crap to the Britney’s, the Gaga’s and the Ke$ha’s. I’m not even a fan of Neyo’s and I’m still disappointed in him for this. I’d rather he do “S*** Love” part 10 than this nonsense.

@Conversation Chamber, I totally agrre with you. I gather from that 20 secounds that it’s already a song I won’t like (I’m quick that way). Also, I don’t mind it if some do this new electronica/pop, but it’s not for everybody. I think Chris Brown perfectly pulls it off, Bey, Rihanna, Kelly even too(well sometimes, but fine it can be her genre). I’m just a little bored that every dance track lately by ao many acts all sound similar. Everyone think that something brillant happens when they do a track with David Guetta and most of the time it sounds awful. Ne-yo is boring me and I was a big fan of his with the release of his first album. He’s a great composer for Rihanna, Janet, Whitney and Fantasia – it just never works out for himself. I wish him luck, but he needs to switch gears fast!

I didn’t like Closer either! That song was annoying! I think it just got play because radio was supporting Ne-yo(he was still relevant). With this song he’s beating a damn horse and people are finally tired of it.

I agree that closer song was not the business. I got the feeling that the song closer wasnt even about a girl but some dark force. Ne-Yo is a song writer so he know how to world play. I actually loved Ne-yo when he first came out with his first album.
This song sounds like it’s going to be a HOT ASS MESS! Like he is trying to relive his “Closer” days but infusing today’s music into it.
