But I can’t take the fuckery that is Collard Greens and Corn Bread…I can’t do it today Fantasia.

Fantasia wasn’t lying when she said she was making an old school soul album, Teach Me sounds like it could have been out in the 60’s, listen to how they sang the background vocals. I want to know who produced that song
This sounds more of like GOSPEL album than an R&B album… God, where is Rihanna when you need her… Plus, Fantasia’s voice is so annoying, its all loud & crackly… Rihanna should give this girl a few voice lessons, her & Beyonce & the rest of the loud screaming banshees.

I wrote down each of the songs that “hit me” just through the 30 second clip. Excited to say that I jotted down 11 of them. I don’t know if “I’m Here” quite fits with the rest of the album, but I’m ok with it as a “bonus track” and understand why they wanted to include it.
I wish “Overload” was on here, but…
Not sure if I ever heard “Ex You” that someone referred to. I’ll see if I can find a clip of it on YouTube. I’ll be buying this album plus some for friends.

Everybody is soo mad that Ex You and Cant Be Without You didnt make the album. Just because you heard a 30s snippet of something doesnt mean that the ENTIRE song turned out #AMAZIN… Fantasia makes good choices in her music… This album appears to be soulful and tells a story about breaking through those barriers that was holding her back. Embrace that she back with an album and stop finding a reason to complain. Dayum, its done now and there’s nothing you or anybody else can do about it. Everybody just enjoys bickering and being mad. GOO FANTASIA

This is by far Fantasia’s best and most cohesive album. She has grown so much as artist, and is still growing by leaps and bounds. I was worried that this would be another generic sounding R&B album, and I can say that this CD is not one of those. A sign that Fantasia has grown as an artist is that she wanted a real album that is a true body of work, and not a collection of songs on an album.
I love it and will be purchasing.
Hey, The_Boydashian. I kind of disagree with you. I am not so much complaining as begging. I think it’s great for Fantasia that her fans are clambering for more of the songs to be on this album. It says we’re excited. And I am.
I just listened to the 30 second clip of “I Can’t Be Without You” and honestly just those 30 seconds made me a little emotional. So yeah, I WANT TO HEAR THE WHOLE SONG!!!! If they want to leak it elsewhere and not include it on the album, I’m kool with that, but I would love to hear it as well as “Ex You”. If they want to send them just to me, I’ll take ’em. Heh!

All in all…I’m disappointed. I didn’t care for her last album either. Don’t know if I’ll be buying this one either.

J Records is going to f*** up another outstanding project. Urban music has no business in the corprate world. Bittersweet was released to radio a month ago and the video is set to premiere this Friday. The LP is coming in Aug., they should be gearing up for the 2nd single next month.

I love Fanny Mae but to be honest this album is not cohesive enough yo get here number hit! I mean she sounds fantastic but the sound, sounds to generic! She needs to make a real soul and R&B album, not this! I hope she has all the success in the world, but she needs to really “Bring it”!!

I love the string arrangements in Move On Me and The Thrill Is Gone. This album shows her growth as an artist. I will be preordering from Itunes so I can get WPIO.
