    lol @ lenny

They need to take a looooong break. 2009-2010 has been Black Eyed Peas OVERLOAD!

On the second thought, I suppose coming back in about couple of years will do the trick. One word Beyonce!

I love the Peas, but every single one of their hits have been played to death. If I hear ‘Boom Boom Pow’ or ‘I Gotta Feeling’ again, I might scream.

They need to take a year off, I think. Maybe Fergie could do another solo album, as they could oversaturate themselves.

Although, if the new material is excellent, I will eat my words.

I didn’t even bother watching, because their songs suck and they’re terrible live. I’m just waiting for Fergie to go PERMANENTLY solo and for the other clowns to just quietly fade away.

I like BEP and what they stand for…sometimes, I’m slow to like their music, but they serve great pop music. I do think it’s too soon for a new album, but everyone else is doing it – Rihanna, Usher, Mariah, Trey…so why not them?

  9. Robier July 31, 2010

too damn soon. Sick of they ass

I’ve loved all the stuff they put out since Fergie joined but I didn’t like her solo album so much. To me they’re a recording band – what I mean is they’re nowhere near as good live as on their records – maybe end of the year is too soon, but everyone else is bringing out albums pretty quickly so guess they gotta go with the flow or get left behind.

i actually cannot stand any of the stuff from their last album. the whole electronic fad needs to go away already.

  13. EXPOSED July 31, 2010

TRUTH BE TOLD. THESE IDIOTS THINK THEY CAN DO WHAT EMINEM DID. HE HAD RELAPSE THEN A YR LATER RECOVERY. MEHHH, BEP’S ALBUM SUCKED EXCEPT THE 2 SINGLES, THE ONLY TRACKS THAT DIDNT SUCK!!!!!! THEIR BRAND OF URBAN POP-HIP HOP UPTEMPOS IS KINDA FORMULAIC. ADD A FEW WORDS CHORUS WITH A HIP HOP BEAT. GETTING EFFING BORRRRING DUDES!!! HOPE THEY EPIC FAIL SO THEY CAN DISBAND AND FERGIE GO SOLO PERM.

I love Fergie. I would go fine for another Fergie album.

But I support BEP and enjoy their music too. so either way a new album by either I will support!

And how is it too soo nto release another album…
    June 2009 -‘The E.N.D.’
    November/December 2010 -New album

That will be over a year apart, and not to name drop but Rihanna’s label was talking about her next album in like February when her album was released last what, November! And Rihanna’s second album came out like 5 or 8 months after her debut album!

This BEP era, the only song I enjoyed was “Boom Boom Pow”. But they wore that mess out on the radio..ugh! I promise I felt like ripping my radio out the wires, and chunking it out the car window. But I feel they shouldn’t release an album so quickly. What happened to growth?

  17. The AlexanderTG July 31, 2010

    @SOULFUL ROSES
Admit there was a fair bit of filler on the abum that’s why I didn’t buy it – I just downloaded the tracks I liked, but I liked other ones apart from just Boom Boom Pow – what about..
    Party All the Time?
    I Gotta Feeling?
    Rock That Body?
    Meet Me Halfway?

I am so surprised this group is staying together. I thought “The End” was the end! I figured that was the reason the tall Indian guy with the straight hair was looking so angry this era! I thought they were doing the whole Destiny Child’s thing with naming their last album something similar to Destiny fulfilled. Anyway, I would have love for them to retire the group, their last album sucked! I hated most of their hits. I only liked Imma Be, Meet me halfway and Rock your body. I think people just figure Fergie and Will.I.am together is genius and what ever they produce = hits! I prefer when Fergie’s solo(even though she has to scream to hit her notes).
