With half of 2010 gone it is a country album again (LAST YEAR TAYLOR SWIFT) that is at the top. Lady Antebellum is 979,000 albums more than their nearest competitor (Justin Beiber) and is selling consistently. It will take a fast selling album to pass them. However with only 2 weeks of release Drake is at 12 and with one week Eminem is at 8. They will be higher in the top 10 by the end of the 3rd quarter (September). Thanks to Drake and Eminem, hip hop is making and a comeback but only Sade and Usher are in it for R&B. Alicia Keys is just outside the top ten at 15. However Sade will fall soon to both Eminem and Drake as her sales are slowing down Eminem will probably spend 4 weeks atop the Billboard 200, with Drake close by. By the end of the 3rd quarter expect Eminem to be at #1 or #2 with Drake at #5. Usher will drop to #7 and Sade will drop to #6. Lady Gaga is representing pop with that album (I can’t believe it is still selling), she will drop to #5. Gaga also has the best selling album of 2010 so far in the U.K (over 700,000 albums sold).
