It sure will be interesting to see how Mr Songz fares this go round. For, despite all of the hype surrounding his last album ‘Ready’, the LP only just scrapped Gold selling status. Moreover, with many having identified a certain cockiness about the 25 year old, ‘Passion’ will need not only to serve up great material, but also sell significantly better than Songz’ last LP to be considered a success.
Important to point out too is that Trey’s so-so success was largely achieved when the likes of Usher and Chris Brown were out of the limelight. With both Brown and Usher currently doing their thing, it’ll be interesting to see how this impacts the Virginia native’s project. After all, he hardly gives either a run for their money.
