Pop princess Katy Perry premièred her brand new single ‘Peacock’ at MTVs World Stage 2010 show in Malaysia last night (July 31st).
”Cock’, as confirmed by Perry herself, is set to be serve as the third single to be lifted from her ‘Teenage Dream’ LP (due August 24th).

After the Pop brilliance that Perry served up with ‘California Gurls’ and ‘Teenage Dream’ (to a lesser extent), ‘Peacock’ is quite the step back (particularly on the lyrical front). Nevertheless, with the buzz the 25 year old has generated with the album’s lead singles, she certainly looks poised for even more success.

She has been getting progressively worst this round.
“CaliGurls” is a blatant “Tik Tok” re-write , “Teenage Dreams” chorus is taken directly from “Caligurls” and her song “E.T” sounds like t.A.t.u’s “All the things she said”.
Her first album/singles were great but this album sounds like pure-pop s***, albeit genial pop-s***.
She’s got a good too btw.
She kind of sucks to me. 🙁 For some reason, I just can’t get into her music. I couldn’t watch more than 30 seconds of her performance. I still wish her the best though, I just won’t be checking for her anymore.

I like Katy, but wow… this song REALLY sucks. “I wanna see your peacock, c***, c***, your peacock, c***, c***”? This makes “Rude Boy” look like a masterpiece by comparison, and if I say a Rihanna song is a masterpiece compared to this, then you KNOW it sucks.
