This week’s numbers are in, and it’s not looking good for Shontelle. At all.
Find out where the Bajan songstress’ new LP ‘No Gravity’ charted and how much it sold after the jump…
According to the ever-reliable Hits Daily Double, the album has missed the Top 50 of the Billboard 200 entirely (#53 to be exact), selling through less than 7,000 copies in its first week on sale.
This will no doubt come as a blow to the singer, who saw the record’s lead single ‘Impossible’ certified Platinum just a few weeks ago.
In any case, the video for its follow-up ‘Perfect Nightmare’ looks set to debut any day now.

With the album being surprisingly quite good (and hands-down better than some of the other releases higher on the chart), its sales are rather unfortunate. One can only hope the project finds success in other territories (it’s due for release here in the UK in November) or does a Jason Derulo (aka, terrible album sales, yet consistently high-charting / selling singles). Time will tell.
