A new song from Jennifer Lopez surfaced on the ‘Exclusive Tunes S.G. 29’. ‘Run The World’ features her labelmates The-Dream and Rick Ross and is reportedly from her recent rerecording of her ‘Love?’ LP. Give it a listen below:

This is a very simple yet infectious track. The tempo and the beat are easy on the ear with a melody that triggers a singalong. However, Rick Ross’ addition to the record is what really takes it to another level as the tone of his voice meshes well with the arrangement. There is no need to mention the obvious fact that the production resembles almost every song that The-Dream has crafted in the last year (see: Ciara’s ‘Ride’ & Mariah Carey’s ‘Ribbon’) because that is almost expected at this point.

Thus far, I have been impressed with most of the new material surfacing from Lopez’s current studio recordings. If she keeps this up she might very well have another shot at the top of the charts.
