Here is yet another song from Rihanna’s ‘Loud’ album. ‘Cheers’ was produced by The Runners and will be featured on the record which arrives in stores on November 16th. Give it a listen below:

This track sounded a lot like something that Ke$ha would have done. In fact, the “yeah yeah” on the chorus sounds exactly like it was performed by the auto-tune princess herself but it was actually taken Avril Lavigne’s ‘I’m With You’ as a direct (and quite clever) sample..

Like the rest of her vocal stylings, Rihanna’s lower register leaves a lot to be desired. Even with heavy studio assistance it was still painfully obvious that she was struggling to hit the notes without running out of breath. Still, as is the norm with the rest of her material, the production on this track was impressive and the songs has potential to be a final single or a basic album cut.
