Hmm. The clip is very ‘Mariah circa 2010’ i.e. stand there, pose, toss weave and what have you. However, given her joyous circumstances, the video is sufficient. The retro-feel also works rather well. Kudos.

I don’t know what I’m supposed to get from a M.C. video. I only checked out half the video, it’s nothing new and she still looks expressionless and slightly awkward. Still, her voice is in tact and it sounds like she’s in great condition(vocally) on the album. Good for her!

Actually, the UK sales while not good doesn’t worry me to much as that is her 2/3rd biggest market. It is the US sales which are more problematic. She is in her 40s and the radio wont play her songs anymore…what she will do? Sell more perfumes?

I hope the LP is good. After this, I really want her to take a chill pill and become a family oriented mommy. Because I really didn’t care for her last two albums. They were rushed, not very thoughtful, and a tad boring. I’m waiting for her to realease something of substance, ie We Belong Together/ Vision of Love/ Anything Else but Her Latest/ Dream Lover material. That’s the Mariah i can’t get enough of.
It shows a lot of strength to promote, put out, and film a video while pregnant. I guess no one understands having to go through a misscarriage and then this all in the public eye. Smh. Whitney had 3 miscarriages. One of them suffered on the set of the bodyguard and she had to go back to work the next 2 days so yes a miscarriage is unfortunate but she’s not the only one it has happened to.
