Perez Hilton caught up with Keri Hilson for an interview to explain the reasoning behind her sexually overt video for ‘The Way You Love Me’. However, instead of trying to quell the mounting controversy, the singer exclaimed that sometimes she “just wants to be f*cked!’.
Look below for the trailer where Hilson sends a message to men to “come get her p*ssy”:
As a feminist myself, I strongly support women taking control of their sexuality and being proud of their desires. However, Hilson is an artist and this isn’t the type of image that she should be portraying in an effort to achieve mainstream success.
Such behaviour might be acceptable in some songs (see Janet Jackson’s ‘Discipline’) but for her to be boasting about the power of her p*ssy in interviews is not wise at all. If Hilson wants to be a superstar on World Star Hip-Hop or BET Uncut then so be it but the mainstream media is not the place for that.
Indeed, I don’t remember Beyonce ever acting like that during any of her interviews with Oprah Winfrey. There must be a limit to this madness.
