2010 keeps getting better for Pink. The Pop superstar scored her third #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 this week as ‘Raise You Glass’ climbed to the top spot, finally ending the reign of Rihanna’s ‘Only Girl (in The World)’ which has now fallen to #3. Pink’s previous #1 songs include last year’s ‘So What’ and 2001’s ‘Lady Marmalade’ – a collaboration with Mya, Lil Kim and Christina Aguilera.
Another act with reason to ‘raise their glass’ are the Black Eyed Peas whose ‘The Time (Dirty Bit)’ has risen from #13 to #9 on the chart. This achievement means that the group now has 9 top 10 singles, 6 of which were accomplished within the last 21 months.

@ Chile Please……I honestly believe if Pink had of put herself in a box and just did simply R&B she would not have seen as much success as she has today. Dont get me wrong R&B is one of my favorite genres of music but you even see major R&B acts trying differents sounds and being more versatile with their voices in order to be successful and create a greater fan base, in this fragile music world could you blame them?
P!nk WAS forced to try the R&B angle by LA Reid when she got signed to Laface in 1999. She was also forced (in a way) to don the pink hair the whole time too. The label was trying to set her apart from Britney/Christina/Mandy/Jessica and all the other blonds that were exploding on the pop scene during the boy band craze of the late 90s/early 00s. Honestly fromt he start I never thought Pink was even apart of that whole Britney/Christina/Jessica crew of pop girls but whatever. I’m glad to see she has a resurgence in her career now plus she deserves it, she doesnt oversing like Christina but has a nice raspy voice that sounds great live and in the studio. Congrats.
Pink is one of the leading ladies of Pop music. She’s great. She’s very talented, and deserves her success. Mariah is doing damn fine, her Christmas album is spectacular, and it’s outselling peoples regular albums. Do no bring her into this garbage. Shut up about Rihanna no one cares. Congrats Pink, Pink was influenced by alot of music, and is very much a rebel, hence the Pink hair, and the the i don’t care attitude. She actually makes great r&b music.

I agree with you for the most part. There have been some other songs that have been worthy of being #1 and made it to the top spot this year. For example, “Nothin’ On You” and “Just The Way You Are.”
