Pop collective The Saturdays recently-filmed a set for AOL Sessions, which debuted today. Check out Vanessa, Frankie, Una, Rochelle, and Mollie‘s performances of their chart smashes ‘Issues’, ‘Missing You’, ‘Higher’ and ‘Ego’ below…
Kudos to the ladies for their solid performances. Some two years after hitting the scene, they’re finally showing collective improvements vocally. Although, I do remain of the opinion that besides Vanessa, Rochelle, and Una (on select days), the rest of the band are vocally inept and are decoration at best.
Still, credit where it’s due, they held their own on this occasion. Here’s hoping they continue along this path. Good stuff.

When putting together a group, you have to have a nice blend of tones. If all the girls in the group were at the exact same vocal level then no one would be special or unique. Frankie and Mollie showcased their vocal talents in different ways. Each girl has a very distinct tone which is the most important aspect of a girl group.
