Now I could generally give a damn about “hating and bashing” on blog sites. Just like to check them every now then because they can become addictive. Whether you like Kim, Nicki, or both, it is FACT that Kim has become irrelevant in the music scene for many reasons. It’s a shame that her first proper music effort in a while is a diss track about Nicki. She could redeem herself better doing otherwise because Nicki is achieving a lot of success and has a lot of fans around right now. It would favour Kim more to squash the beef, be the bigger person and place her effort into quality music. Who knows, the crown she clearly feels has been stolen might make it’s way back to her that way.
@HAHA SLOW DOWN, A marketing team doesn’t guarantee album sales. Just look at NeYo, Diddy Last Train to Paris, Nelly, etc. Let’s face it, Pink Friday is a solid album. If it were not, no one would buy it regardless of how much they like the artist. Pink Friday may not be your taste, but many people enjoy it, including me.
I like Kim too. But, I was never a lover of Kim’s music, outside of LaBella Mafia. However, Kim has presence and I always checked for her and enjoy watching her videos. If she were performing on t.v., i watched. I voted and watched every episode of DWTS. I also watched Countdown to Lockdown. Kim is just cool people.
I don’t have to hate Nicki to like Kim and vice versa. But Kim’s action is showing just how much Roman’s Revenge effed her up! Of course, it put Kim back on her grind. But when your grind is simply to go against someone who is liked by many, it may backfire. Kim is showing jealousy and coming across as bitter.
Roman’s Revenge won because it’s obvious that the song got to the heart of Kim’s soul. Black Friday is not as lethal to Nicki’s soul.
