For Lambada, you try hard to say like she took the whole song, despite the fact that we know 95% of On The Floor is different and better, even those samples are used in a different and modern way.
BTW, the nomination was about the Latin Grammy Awards.

The thing I hate the most is when an artist doesn’t know when his/her time has passed. Jennifer Lopez is one of them. To borrow Lady Gaga’s producer, Redone to do a dance track for her is a blatant rip off…find your own super producer to produce your ish. Secondly to borrow Beyonce’s choreographer(s) is a rip off as well. Yes Ms. JLO has been doing this longer than B and Gaga but this is a desperate attempt to get back on top…somewhere that her talent the first time did not get her…Plus I don’t see this doing anything on the charts since Britney and Gaga has more hype & Beyonce doesn’t have anything to worry about. The music trinity this year is Britney, Gaga and Beyonce…there is no room for JLO…
Plus this song sounds like something Kesha, Katy, Rihanna and everybody else has done plus good hit sounds very similar to Rihanna S&M….take a listen

No way in hell is this a failure. The overall reception for this single has been mostly POSITIVE and it has gotten a better reception than that of “Good Hit” I might add. Also, I have yet to see any blogs or articles where the response have been negative. So I’m sorry to say, but a lot of people are feeling this and I can’t blame them it’s straight FIRE. Even Jen herself stated at the Golden Globes that she decided to release it because overall public were loving it. She knows exactly what she’s doing, seems like a HIT to me. 🙂
