Lil Wayne hasn’t been out of prison for a year but he is already going on tour. Alongside Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross,Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike the top-selling rapper will embark on the ‘I Am Music II’ US tour which is set to launch on March 18th in Buffalo. I think it has to do with her being a featured artist on so many songs. She doesn’t have enough material by herself. I doubt they would take the risk of a solo tour, even though she does have a solid fanbase. They would be investing money into bringing those artists on stage.

First of all, I’m probably going to see this in Vancouver, CA in April. If the ticket prices aren’t too bad, I’d love to go to my first rap show. Vancouver isn’t very far away from Seattle.

I don’t think it has to do with her features, first of all. She always performs her features at shows, anyways. Also, I think it just has to do with her wanting to be a little more exposed in the touring world so that if she delivers on stage with the I Am Music II Tour, people who see that (tons will), will want to see the Pink Friday Tour next summer.

LOL, I understand. Although I’m a Wayne fan, I completely understand why ALOT of people dislike him. I’ve been listening to him since he and Cash Money (Hot Boys) were local artists in Louisiana, which was when I was in early middle school. Wayne was always my favorite because he was closer in age to me (like 4 years older than me) and, most people don’t know this, but back then he didn’t curse when he rapped because of his mother and I kinda admired that about him. He didn’t start getting vulgar until after two or three albums. His best work was before he became mainstream, like “The Block Is Hot,” “The Carter I,” and especially his mixtapes. Alot of people don’t know much about Wayne, except everything POST-“Lollipop” which is his WORST s*** (aside from his No Ceilings mixtape). I’ll always be a fan of him because of what I know he’s done and can do, but I seriously DESPISE alot of what he’s done in the 3 to 4 years.
Anyway, his first I AM MUSIC TOUR, was AMAZING, I’m not gonna even lie! He’s a really good performer. Not to keen about Nicki because she’s a terrible performer. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Travis Barker! <3

I agree with @nichole. I think Nicki can hold her own in a small theater tour as a headliner with a few up and comming opening acts. She definitely has enough material with all three of her mixtapes, her features, and her new CD. It’s so much she can do on an actual tour. I already have some creative treatments in my head for a Pink friday tour. I think she’s gonna start with Wayne and do her own leading into her next cd.
