Chris Brown has sold millions of records around the world but there is one thing that he has never done: performed ‘Saturday Night Live’. However, the young superstar will finally achieve that goal when he hits the stage on the iconic comedy show on February 12th.
Brown, whose ‘F.A.M.E’ album is set for release on March 22d, will appear as the guest performer on ‘SNL’ on the same weekend as the Grammy Awards (airing on February 13th). Expect the episode to be hosted by Katy Perry’s husband, Russell Brand.

Being that ‘Graffiti’ is nominated for TWO Grammy’s this year, proves that you can’t take critics seriously anymore. All the critics are are people giving their opinions. Those opinions can’t be taken seriously when they are obvisously biased and can’t comment on on an artist music without bringing up the artist personal drama. Would you rather him go to the grammys to just sit in the audience and not perform or would you rather him be out somewhere performing and promoting his CD? I would definitely choose the latter. I never said he did have to go. I just want him to go because they might try to pull an AMAs and not give him his award since he didn’t show up. I heard The Grammys snub people who don’t go. It’s already possible they can snub him in general.
Oh and he can do both if he really wanted to hunny. One is on Saturday. And one is Sunday. It’s called a plane. So the re-scheduling thing I don’t buy. I’m glad he is promotiong F.A.M.E but he skips out on too many award shows. It’s not like I’m cursing him out for not going I just want him to go because I have faith in him winning and if he wins who is accepting his Grammy? That’s my only concern. I’m just hoping he changes his mind if not then there is next year. My opinion and I’m not changing it.

I have faith, but he is already doing great without any real promo. Besides twitter and some blog sites, he hasn’t really been getting any promo. Especially with appearances and performances on TV. @Keesha: I liked that performance, definitely one of his best! But one of my favorite is the one at BET’s SOS Hatiti Telethon! He killed that performance and really SANG and put his heart and soul into it! For people who say he can’t sing live and all he does is dance, he really proved them wrong!
What I like best is the reaction he got from the crowd! They started cheering as soon as the music came on! It was such a beautiful moment! A lot of people say that the BET Awards was his ‘first’ televised performance since the ‘incident’, but it was actually this one! It’s crazy cause I think it’s one of his best and not to many people know about it.

@Noodles; Yeah, I can’t really see him perfoming ‘Look At Me Now’ on SNL. I don’t want him to either, it’s too explicit, it just wouldn’t be a good fit IMO. I am sure he is going to perform ‘Yeah 3x’ which is more appropriate and will give the song more promo and hopefully will give it boost. It will be his first live performance of the song and since SNL is coming up soon, it could help move it up closer to the top ten.
