Being in the top 10 without any major promo is very impressive, and before all of the Grammy craze, the song was back in the top 20. HIAM will get its boost once the video drops.
Damn. Brit has haters in a frenzy, and they will lose their minds once the video drops tonight.
Actually, today marks one month that HIAM has been on radio, and it shot to #1 on the Hot 100 the following week. Therefore, the 26th of February (I believe) will mark one month that HIAM has been in the top 10. If my calculations are correct.
@ Born this way equals express yourself – I see someone else finally realizes that it’s all payola and people have no voice in requesting what we want to hear or what eventually becomes a hit. It so sad! Gaga has been pushed down our throats since ’08! I know she has a huge fanbase, but she does get that constant extra push to sell something to the casual listeners that aren’t impressed with her.
As for Britney, I must admit I am concerned for her too. I just hope that this video was worth the wait, because I think this will sort of reveal what we’re all in for this era and if she’s still hungry!
