Before the group eventually succumbed to the Bad Boy curse of Diddy’s mismanagement, Danity Kane was primed to fill the void in Pop music created after the departure of Destiny’s Child. To highlight the potential of these women, this week’s From The Vault features their 1st televised concert in 2006 where they performed songs from their platinum-certified self-titled debut album.

Undoubtedly, Danity Kane was one of the most impressive new acts to emerge in the last decade. From Dawn’s androgynous voice to D. Woods’ street swag and Aundrea’s stunning vocal range, this group had the potential to access both Urban and Pop markets like no other band before them.
Sadly, like all other acts associated with Diddy (with the exception of Cassie who must have other secret ‘talents’), it was only a matter of time before they slipped into oblivion. Luckily, we have YouTube to help us remember what they once were and could have been.
