A new song from Chris Brown surfaced just moments ago. ‘Bomb’ features Wiz Khalifa and will appear on the deluxe edition of Brown’s upcoming ‘F.A.M.E’ album which hits stores on March 22nd. Give the record a listen below:
The record has an exciting beat similar to Lil Wayne’s ‘6 Foot 7 F00t (Ft. Cory Gunz)’ which, despite the fact that it appears on the deluxe edition, could make it a viable choice for a future single. While I am not a fan of Brown’s attempts at rapping, the interplay between him and Khalifa worked here.
Most of the material emerging from Brown’s recent studio sessions has bee impressive. It looks like Britney Spears, Beyonce and Lady GaGa won’t be the only artists making waves on the charts this year!

Chris’ peen is quite lovely. I’ve seen better/bigger (thicker), but the dude does have pretty decent length for 21 years old. I’m only 24, but I’m sure it’ll get larger with age/maturation. I personally don’t understand why people send naked pictures or take naked pictures period. It’s stupid in my opinion. I was really shocked looking at it and I honestly don’t even know why I went to look. Human curiosity I guess. *shrugs shoulders* I’m DONE talking about this!
Anyway, the song is okay. I just don’t like all of this auto tune that Chris is using. Does he even realize that he doesn’t need it? It sounds annoying too. And since Chris said that he doesn’t really consider himself a serious rapper and that he’s just having fun with rapping, I don’t understand why he even has two songs on his album where he is rapping (even though this song is on the deluxe version only). He’s not a horrible rapper, but his singing is so much better. I don’t know. The only songs that I’ve heard so far that I like from the album are “Up To You” “Deuces” and “No BS”. I’m still buying the album though. I just hope that there are more songs on the album that I like. I don’t like when people hype up albums and they turn out to not be good. I’m still anticipating the album though. I want it to be good.

Lil Wayne Notches Top-Selling Album Of ‘08

Rapper Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter III” (Cash Money/Universal) is far and away the top seller of 2008, netting 2.88 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. However, it’s the first time the best selling album of the year has sold less than 3 million since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.
Coldplay is a distant second with “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends” (Capitol) at 2.15 million, followed by Taylor Swift’s just-released “Fearless” (Big Machine with 2.11 million. Swift’s self-titled 2006 debut is No. 6 on the year-end chart with 1.6 million.
Kid Rock crowns the year-end chart at No. 4 with “Rock N Roll Jesus,” which sold more than 2 million. The Atlantic release was not available on iTunes, fueling sales of the full album.
AC/DC’s Wal-Mart exclusive release, “Black Ice” (Columbia), sold 1.92 million copies to rank No. 5 for the year. It was also held back from digital retailers. Metallica’s “Death Magnetic” (Warner Bros.) came in at No. 7 with 1.57 million, followed by T.I.’s “Paper Trail” (Grand Hustle/Atlantic) at No. 8 with 1.52 million.
Jack Johnson’s “Sleep Through the Static” (Brushfire/Universal) is No. 9 with 1.5 million, while Beyonce’s new “I Am … Sasha Fierce” (Music World/Columbia) rounds out the top 10 with 1.46 million.
In 2008, there were 428.4 million albums sold, down 14.4% compared to 2007’s 500.5 million. Digital downloads of albums accounted for 65.79 million albums this year, or 15.4% of the overall album market. In 2007, digital albums sold 50.01 million and represented 10% of the album market.
Conversely, physical CD albums made up 360.6 million albums this year (84% of the market), compared to 449.18 million last year (90% of overall album sales).
This year also saw a record number of vinyl albums sold, with 1.8 million – more than any other year since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. It’s the first time the industry has sold 1 million vinyl albums in a calendar year since 2004, when 1.2 million were sold. The top selling vinyl set of 2008 was Radiohead’s “In Rainbows,” with 26,000.
Meanwhile, digital track sales continue to blow up, as 2008 was the first year to see over 1 billion tracks sold. All told, 1.07 billion were sold, up 26.7% compared to 2007’s 844 million. The top selling track of the year is Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love,” with 3.37 million.

Britney Spears Visits Ryan Seacrest
With the release of her ‘Femme Fatale’ LP but weeks away, Britney Spears has finally hit the promotional trail in support of the project – with her most recent stop being Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. The megastar chatted it up with the American Idol host this morning about the album, her forthcoming ‘Good Morning America’ performance, and surprisingly her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick – a topic she is usually coy about.

It’s great to see Britney ‘with it’ and somewhat excited about the project. One can only hope the same radiance translates into solid live performances. And if it sounds like we’re beating a dead horse with the ‘live performance’ talk, it’s only because she has been performing like one for the last few years. Kinda makes it hard to be excited about anything she says or does these days.
I’m ready to tuck into humble pie should she find her spark. She just needs to serve it up.

@BRANDON for one I think if you’re a artist & you make songs that require vocals, you should be able to sing your “own” songs live. 2, it’s sad when you’ll pay your money to see somebody perform live & not sing their own songs recorded. 3, Britney can’t dance nor perform live anymore. She’s really stiff & her choreo is tired & inspired. So, with that said it’s like people are giving her a pass & hyping her up & buying into her solely by her name & her music (which isn’t even top notch per se, it’s just catchy). Britney doesn’t even try to put effort. This is just my own personal opinion. I don’t hate her, but I’m gonna be honest.

Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream” reigns for a sixth straight week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 137,000 (down 73%) according to Nielsen SoundScan, bringing her cumulative sales total up to 3,104,000. However, while that is a huge sales sum — especially considering it was totaled in just six weeks time — it’s not enough to overtake Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” as 2009’s top selling album. The latter is at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 this week, selling another 60,000 — bringing its 2009 total to 3,217,000.
Of course, Boyle can rest easy in knowing that her “Dream” is but one of just two albums to sell at least 3 million copies in the U.S. last year — something that hasn’t happened since 2006, when three albums did it. Boyle’s “Dream” is also 2009’s top selling album released last year (Swift’s “Fearless” dropped in late 2008), and was also the top selling physical album of 2009. Of its overall 2009 total, physical CDs accounted for 3,019,000 copies, whereas digital downloads made up a rather tiny 86,000.

For those voicing their complaints about Chris not performing: Don’t you realize his people (agent, publicist, manager,etc.) have to try and book these gigs so he can perform on the day and night talk show circuit? I’m pretty sure they are, but the shows have to accept him. Unfortunately not everyone is as accepting as others. His manager can try and book him a spot on Ellen, GMA, etc. but if they say no, that’s it. I by no means understand the inner workings of the entertainment industry, but some of it is common sense. If he’s not performing and promoting, I’m pretty sure its not from a lack of trying. It’s not fair, but that’s life. I’m glad SNL allowed him to perform and I’m looking forward to GMA as well.
Well he is generating buzz from those pictures, because the radio station is talking about it. I think I am over the shock now. I hope team breezy and other Chris fans come out in numbers on 03/22/2011 and buy his album. Maybe he get some promo from MTV when his video release. I really agree with someone who was saying , that maybe the talk shows and some of mainstream network has turned him down to come on their show. Shouldn’t the label have figured this out back in October when Chris first released “Yeah 3x”? That was when he should’ve been performing that song. It should not have taken until February to perform that song on national television for the very first time. The boy has worked his ass off with the limited amount of shine he was given. Gosh, I really wish his team didn’t rush into repairing his image, let him take some time off and thought things through. Maybe he wouldn’t be in this predicament.
I don’t know if some of you know this, but he did that same interview the same day he went to court and was assigned to do the community service and DV classes.

My guess is that they thought Chris’ looks and talents were going to overshadow all of the fuckery that was 2009 (and I get the feeling that they still think that way; otherwise, why put s***** songs like “Bomb” and “Look at Me Now” on an album.)
My hope is that they get a reality check really quick and come hard with the image, PR and music from now on…

also the european tour i know he was banned in the UK (but he wasn't banned from the WHOLE of europe right?) the UK isn't the only country that exists in Europe right i mean what about Ukraine Romania,Bulgaria Serbia Macedonia etc etc

@ISTANDFORCHRISBREEZY I agree with everything you said.There are songs on Grafitti that I loved like movie,brown skin girl,i’ll go the whole damn album was good but it also was his lowest selling album.Truth be told I enjoyed the pics of n*** CB and yes he def OD I was shocked like really, I can’t believe this dude d*** on full display all over the place.I tried to convince myself that it was leaked but I’m not convinced I think CB put it out there cuz he made no comment about it and he comments on everything else.I’am also upset that Grafitti has yet to even go gold even with the backlash it should of went gold and his fans did not take him there.Even if you was not feeling the whole album you should of brought it to support him. CB is put on a pedestal by his fans like he is on MJ level and dude can’t go gold I think CB is going all out I wish he did not have to take it there but I guess he feels the need to.CB is going to be put under a mircoscope when his album drops and his fans will be hoping for a sucessful album but many more will be waiting for a flop album and this album is going to make or break CB.
