At 6:45 am on Saturday 23rd April, the ‘Single Black Female‘ actress was picked up by officers from the Culver City Police Department for disorderly conduct allegedly involving alcohol. She was released on a $100 bail term later on that day, TMZ confirmed.
In 2000, Franklin joined R&B group Destiny’s Child with singer Michelle Williams, replacing two of the bands former members.
Her contract was terminated after five months after she was reported to have shown a lack of interest in continuing on with the group.
She is now the second former Destiny’s Child member to have faced trouble with the law. Last year, ex-member LaTavia Roberson confessed during a televised conversation that she went to jail for driving while intoxicated.
