After much delay, Kelly Rowland has finally lifted the lid on the title of her hotly anticipated new album.

Speaking exclusively to Billboard, the 30 year old revealed her third studio LP is called…
‘Here I Am’
Recounting her reasons for naming it as such, the singer said:
“I was talking to my product manager; I I wanted people to know that this is the record, the sound I¹ve been working toward… that here I am. And she said,that’s the title. It just connected with my heart and the music as well. It stands for everything I’ve gone through and thought about for this record as a woman. It’s very strong.”
The project’s lead single ‘Motivation’ is currently riding high on the charts – sitting at #3 and #31 on the Billboard R&B & Hot 100 tally’s. And its success has spurred Rowland on to pinpoint a date for the album – which has been almost 3 years in the making – by the end of this week. Although, her label Universal Motown, have confirmed Fall to be the release window.
Producers and writers featured on the set include Dr. Luke, Stargate, RedOne, Tricky Stewart and Rodney Jerkins, Jim Jonsin and Rico Love.

FINALLY! Geez! I thought we were never gonna get an album from this chick. It’s about damn time! The album title is cute, but I could give a damn about the title of the album, I just want the music to be on point.
I like ‘Motivation’ a lot, it’s really grown on me & it’s doing great on the charts, so she already has a hit on her hands leading into this album. She is getting some buzz & I think people want to see her do well so if she promotes it right and release another great single she can sell this album. Hopefully she has a lot of good material on the album and not just a few hits for radio and a bunch of album fillers.
I am praying ‘Geronimo’ makes the cut cause I am dying to hear her version of it! I LOVE Breezy’s version but I know she can sing the hell out of that song! I just heard that ‘Favor’ song by Lonny Bereal and Kelly’s vocals on it were AMAZING so I am really looking forward to some new material.

YESS!!!! She needs to perform it somewhere! Anywhere! I hate to say it but I can’t really see her being able to book shows like GMA, or The Today Show, plus the single is too ‘urban’ for those audiences. 106, Monique Show, Wendy Williams would be a good look for her. Maybe The George Lopez or even Ellen. But she needs to perform it somewhere. The song is a hit but a good performance is needed.

I think a few high profile performances on shows like Ellen, GMA, The Today Show, The Early Show and 106&Park, would definitely push this single into the top 10 on the Hot 100 and to #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, but she does need to come with a more uptempo 2nd single for the summer months and then release the album around September. I am pretty sure this album will go Gold in the U.S., but depending on the following singles this album could even go Platinum. And I heard Ciara maybe signing with Universal as well and Ciara and Kelly are really good friends, so hopefully Universal can really help them get back on top because they both are very talented and I miss their music.
