NBC’s search for the ‘The Voice’ continues next week.
With the “blind audition” stage of the hit show now over, the competition heats up as the judges begin prepping their respective’ teams’ prior to going head-to-head.
In this preview of episode 3, Christina Aguilera coaches contestants Frenchie Davis and Tarralyn Ramsey who take on Beyonce‘s ‘Single Ladies’.

Christina is FAR from the greatest voice. She has sooooooooooo many technical flaws. From pitch (flat!) , to control, to execution of ideas, to STRAINING, screaming, yelling. She runs too much and it’s not even that it’s too much, but many of them are VERY sloppy and ugly.
I think she has a powerful voice, but it definitely needs some fine tuning. Moreso NOW than in her early years. She tries too hard and ends up looking like a fool with her pants on the grounds (lol).

After one of them had been stalking me and harassing me I had to make a little video where I s*** all over Christina’s strained attempts at singing two simple notes with two simple effortless notes I sing first in baritenor range and then in her range to show the b**** has no excuse to sucking so much.
It’s ridiculous they dare say Christina is a better singer than Beyonce when Beyonce can sing effortlessly with resonance and good intonation across 3+ octaves with no bumps or breaks in between or drops of volume and Christina can barely manage 6 semitones if that! Christina’s best high note is G4 and her best low note is F4, LOL, the rest are too high and she strains or too low and she is mush.
God, this is irritating. Christina does not have a powerful voice, she’s just loud.
If she possessed true vocal power, her voice would resonate and she wouldn’t have difficulty hitting notes in the lower register and trying to defy death hitting the upper notes. Her “whistle register” is nothing more than a scream, her belts sound like a lion being castrated by a toothpick and her low notes are nothing but unsupported gas.
If you know even a fraction about the human voice, you idiots would understand that. Loudness does NOT equate power. Christina may have a beautiful voice, but that’s where it ends. Voice of the Generation my ass.

Beyoncé is a singer who knows how to control her voice properly. She has a great singing technique and that’s what makes her a better vocalist.
Also, her tone is so pretty. I’m not saying Christina ain’t bad but if you’re guys comparing both singers I wouldn’t doubt to say that Beyoncé’s is better.

The Rolling Stones loved Beyonce. Her songs always make it to their top 10 Best Song of the decade (Irreplaceable and Single Ladies). Yet when they vote for the 100 greatest SINGERS, Beyonce didn’t come in their mind, and from there alone, you’d know Beyonce never make her mark as a SINGER in the industry. We can talk about #E6 all day but it won’t erase the fact that people recognize Christina as a SINGER more than the fantastic Beyonce.
FYI, I have all beyonce’s albums and her concerts because I am entertained by her. I respect her hard work and she’s one of those celebrities that concentrates on craft rather than their personal lives just to sell, and I liked that.

I am taking singing classes at the moment to strengthen my breath control & placement and when I first went in there was this girl who was like “I wanna sing like Christina Aguilera.” My vocal teacher was like know you don’t. I watched those videos, and I can understand that the aim is to make the public realize Christina is not that great. I listen to all the great voices of all time (Ella, Whitney, Mariah, Groban, Ripperton, Simone, Franklin, etc etc), and you know what? I realized why Christina is considered to be among them: Her voice is so unique for a white woman. So powerful for a tiny body. And then she’s also beautiful. I mean, you can’t fault her. She is even relate-able in a deeper sense coz of her childhood.
There are billions of singers around the world who can be greater than her, but her voice speaks soul to me. Growling is passion, an emotion (why do you think angry animals do that?), and to be able to use that in music is commendable, powerful, and moving. And none of these vocally trained and polished singer of today can move me on a personal level. I dunno, but that’s the effect to me. And again, this is a matter of personal opinion, and it just happen that my opinion is backed by industry institutions like Rolling stone.

Whitney, Mariahm and Aretha were not trained polished singers, but they still had proper use of technique. Unlike them, Christina actually needs training, and it urks me because if she did get training not only would she be great, but she would indeed probably be the best their ever was.
And Beyonce also knew how to sing befor she got vocal lessons.
Vocal lessons does not make one who can’t sing a good singer, but it helps those who can sing to improve and grow to expand their gift and instrument.

I think vocal lessons can indeed help someone learn to sing, but it’s entirely up to the person to work towards being better. I started with zero talent but now I am technically proficient and got a 5 octave range, but it took 6 years of voice lessons, ear training, piano, music theory, jazz ensemble, etc
Anyways, Whitney and Mariah did get vocal coaching, they didn’t study rigorously like a classical singer does but they sure learned to use their voices.
Anyway…… back to the show (sick of this stan crap)

Christina is clearly the better singer between the two, this is how you know that Beyonce stans are threatened, this was about her coaching, yet they turned this into a vs post. Christina has the better voice period. Beyonce has great technique but her voice is regular, it doesn’t have much punch, and she growls, abuses her vibrato at times, especially when she doesn’t have the power to support her chest notes sometimes. Christina’s voice is far more versatile than Beyonce’s. The thing with Christina is that she sings from her throat. If she gets her technique together imagine how much more awesome she would be. Her voice on Bionic” was not in bad shape either, the songs just called for her to sing differently, and even while doing so she showed far more versatility than Beyonce.
Beyonce has great technique but she doesn’t have that something that Christina has. Christina has the power,soul,emotion,range,versatility,adlibs,runs, with greater technique that would be just something else.

Singing different music (of similar difficulty) with the same exact style in the same comfy range is not versatility.
Christina might (arguably) have the prettier voice, but she lacks many other things Beyonce has in abundance.
Christina’s true range is in fact quite limited, really about an octave…below Ab3 her voice is foggy, unsupported gas, while beyonce can project a note as low as C3 with perfect clarity. Above Ab4 Christina shows signs of strain, having to growl and scream to try to reach the notes…while Beyonce can belt out G#5 with freedom and sing high soprano notes like C#6 in a connected head voice instead of the nasty falsetto Christina uses.
Also quite often Christina’s ad libs and runs are dreadfully off key.

When Beyonce does a G5 it’s usually only a glimpse, or done in her head voice.

I hate x-tinas stand. They are ridiculous. If she was black she would be just an average singer. Voice of the generation my ass. She doesn’t have the stats or talent for that title. Fantasia ,J.hud,Beyonce,Tiffany Evans,Charice,Letoya London,Kelly Clarkson,Carrie Underwood,Jazmine Sullivan all sound better than her. She only has a nice tone. Her vocals are almost always all over the place her high notes are strained. She only sounds amazing in the studio. Christina is also way more versatile than just about all of the ladies that you named. Her tone is great, she’s has superb soul,emotion and power. Her race has nothing to do with her being a great singer, even if she was another race her voice is still distinctive from the others.

She doesn’t deserve the voice title because there are better singers. Do you know how many ppl out there who will sing circles around our recording stars with no record deal? Plus color is a big factor if she was black she wouldn’t get any attention. There are countless gospel singers that are her age and younger that will murk her when it comes to vocals. Oh yea I’m not a Stan for anybody I like anything that’s good music. I dont even respect stans. So dont try it. I respect your opinion though I love the stripped album. Sure I like to be awed by a vocalists power or dazzled by a singers incredible range. I hear stans saying that Christina don’t deserve to be compared to Mariah or Whitney, Maybe she does, maybe she doesn’t. What I do know is what I feel when I listen to a Christina song like “Hurt”, which she wrote. That is a deeply moving song about how we are imperfect as human beings, how we can hurt those we love the most and hurt our own selves deeply in the process, yet also it is a song about forgiveness and redemption. Christina has made many inspirational songs of this caliber. People don’t like to admit it but she’s a great songwriter capable of writing deeply moving and meaningful songs. I think she’s an amazing singer. But I really love Christina for her heart and mind and the honesty and courage with which she writes. And that is the inner beauty that her fans see in her.

Again Christina has a distinct voice, that makes her unique, alot of those gospel artists that you are talking about all sound to similar, and you can barely separate them in terms of their voice, one of the key factors in why Christina stands above them, like i sadi even if Christina was another race, her voice is her voice, race wouldn’t be a factor. Thats outlandish to say that if she wasn’t the race that she is, nobody would care about her, with her voice alot of people more than likely still would be highly interested.
Furthermore, as far as singers go she definitely deserves the that name, people don’t know about singers that don’t have record deals, and that is not something that really has anything to do with Christina. Another thing to me, her voice sounds just as good as it did on the “Stripped” album. It wasn’t to much of a drastic change, some people just like to reach. But alot of what you are saying is just merely your opinion. Lastly, i didn’t say that sales were everything but as far as success goes, Christina is leaps and bounds ahead of most of those ladies that you aforementioned.

Christina has always had a deep, rich voice with beautiful tone. She was doing justice to deep voiced Toni Braxton’s “Another Sad Love Song” when she was only 12 years old. Christina’s singing on the Burlesque soundtrack is very rich and full, in my opinion, even more so than in the Stripped or B2B era. And the power and precision with which she hits those notes on Beautiful People is off the charts. I don’t think she’s lost anything. She might even be better.
