In what will undoubtedly come as a shock to nobody many, pop supergroup Black Eyed Peas are taking an ‘indefinite hiatus from working together’, according to lead singer Fergie. The announcement comes on the heels of two successful albums, world tours, and a slew of hit singles.
However, the ‘London Bridges’ singer was sure to emphasize that the break was not permanent stating, “We’re going to be taking a break just like we did after we released Monkey Business in 2005 until we came back in 2009…This isn’t going to be the last time you’ll see us.”
The group is currently in the middle of their ironically titled ‘The Beginning.” tour.

I WISH THEY WOULD MAKE MUSIC LIKE THEY DID IN 2003-2005, BECAUSE THE SONGS THEY HAVE KNOW EVEN “I GOT A FEELING” WERE BAD AND SUCKED TO ME. I STILL HAVE THEIR M***** BUSINESS ALBUM, ITS THERE BEST WORK. THE NEW BLACK EYE PEAS HAVE LOST WHAT MADE THEM FAMOUS AND ARE JUST RELEASING MUSIC TO KEEP THEM FAMOUS. GOOD LUCK TO FERGIE.

ItsAboutTime.com Rockstars in their 40’s who try THAT hard to be uber trendy, come across as insincere and more than a tad bit silly. The screeching meth head, the domineering band leader and the two seat fillers deserve a rest and lord knows we the listeners do! PS: Another Fergie album is as unwanted as Ciara standing in a record company’s lobby trying to get a meeting with an exec.
Hopefully Fergie releases a solo album.

About time!
So what take a break and disappear for good,tired of the group anyway,,,
I think this will be the last time they will ever be together. Fergie’s got her own plans and could become really successful. I don’t like them together as a group anyway. I only like a few of their songs.
They are a good group, however they need to regroup. They have done so much together for quite a while. Now they just need a break. That was probably the reason they dropped two albums back to back.
This is not a surprise, especially with the tension between them lately. Mostly, because of Will I.Am who can be controlling. The last cd was horrible and you can tell the energy is not there anymore. I think Fergie makes better music on her own though here in the States in several interviews she said no more solo cds for a while. She wants to focus on her marriage and start a family. This was an issue the media pointed out which caused tension between her and I Am last year. You can’t keep churning out cds that sound the same every 6 months. A break needs to be taken to do other things.
Actually, they are in the midst of The Beginning Tour… NOT The END (that was last year)
But hey, TGJ ain’t never really cared about FACTS.
Good, this album flopped. They need a long break, do things separately, MAYBE A FERGIE ALBUM? and then a big comeback!
