Her accomplishments are so gigantic that it stretches over into other generations. Whitney never has to sing like she use to, because no one ever will. That was a gigantic moment in time, and people can revisit it on YOUTUBE. People like Michael, Whitney, Prince, Madonna, and even Janet never have to prove themselves again. Because when they put out material, it wasn’t mass produced crap, it was their heart and souls.
I’m still waiting for anyone in this generation to have an album like Thriller, Purple Rain, Ray of Light, Rhythm Nation, or sing their ass off like The Bodyguard.. Never, so until then, they never have to prove themselves!
