Continuing along the promotional trail for her ‘Here I Am’ LP, Kelly Rowland stopped by Fox’s Good Day NY this morning.
The 30 year old stunner discussed many a topic including, of course, the album, judging on the X Factor UK, being the face of Sean John’s ‘Empress’, and starring in Beyonce’s ‘Party’ video.

In other Rowland news, ‘Here I Am’s second single ‘Lay It On Me’ has seen its radio add date pushed back from August 2nd to August 16th. One can only hope this is to facilitate a tie-in with its already overdue video. Indeed, the clip for ‘Motivation’ dropped way back in April. Although, it must be said, the song has only just peaked on the Hot 100 (at #17 on) – with current figures showing it could climb higher.

The promo only gonna get harder once the UK X-factor properly kicks in on mentor & live phase so she needs 2 more vids before that otherwise the legs won’t stretch on this album.
Miss Kelly get that promo. She has such a lovely personality. She lights up the screen here. LOL at the anchorman trying to get a smell of Kelly’s perfum after the anchorwoman did :).
O-o “Lay It On Me” is pushed back to August 16 Sam! I don’t know what’s going on behind the scene, and I’m hope Team Kelly continue to do their best to support “Here I Am.”

DAAAAAAAAAAMN! I always watch Kelly Rowland’s interviews, but I am always amazed at how articulate this woman is! I’m always told I’m well spoken and have a great personality, but she motivates me to be able to say a lot without having to pause or think for a minute. She’s seriously the best person to interview. Her words just flow and her voice is lovely. That male host needed to practice more on what he was going to say, but at the end he got it together. He was looking at her BODY!!! LOL! I am so glad she has a lot of projects going. To be honest, it’s good they pushed back “Lay it On Me” because many mainstream people aren’t aware that she’s HERE. She just needs to continue to do promo on shows like these so people know that Beyonce isn’t the only DC member who made it big. She looked pretty too.

Said it before and will say it again…kelly bumped up her album release 2 1/1 months…I know promo people and they plan appearances months in advacne. With the short time in between her album being buped up it is not entirely possible to do the Today Shows and SNL that one would like to have the week of the album. NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL for Kelly….now if it was Beyonce then maybe because of her Star Power which admittingly Kelly is catching up to
@FLEUR – The way that these days go by so quickly, August 16th will be here before you know it. I think Kelly is going at a pretty good pace when it comes to her promotion. Because if she were all over the place performing, doing interviews and magazine covers back to back, by now alot of people would be saying that she’s over exposing herself or saturating the market. And, then they’d start saying things like, “I’m sick of her already!” So, actually, I think she’s doing pretty good. If anything, her promotion will eventually pick up steam. But, I think it’s good to start at a steady pace that way she doesn’t get on people’s nerves so quickly.
