Now, you may have remembered me, both I and Michelle Williams were Beyonce’s back-up singers/place-holders/go-fers and we were in a group known as Destiny’s Child. With hard-working, somewhat-talented, well-managed BEYONCE “up-front,” we sold a BUNCH of records!
I’ve been in THIS game for, quite literally, DECADES now, and MY resume/pedigree?
Well, I’ve now released 3-CDs. My biggest release was in 2002, right after DC broke up – when you, the ‘discretionary-spending public’, was still mourning THAT loss. That 2002 CD “Simply Deep” ,”SIMPLY-BOMBED” in the U.S. (It didn’t go Platinum, not even Gold); though, it sold some 2-Million World Wide. My 2nd CD “Ms. Kelly” returned EVEN LESS both IN The U.S. AND ALSO World Wide (1.3-Million).
..Now this, my most-recent and 3rd CD “Here I Am” failed to…”MOTIVATE” anyone, only moving 77k first week, and 22K its second week U.S. OTC retail release (78-K World Wide – that’s including U.S.). That’s some 70% decline in sales….!!!!!!!!
These just-HORRID numbers came after much hype, buzz, fanfare…
1.) My BET Awards show performance (which drew much twitted-accolades from my industry-peers),
2.) Lil’ Wayne featured “Motivation” which stayed atop the charts of months
3.) That much spoke about urban myth ’bout Beyonce and/or Matthew Knowles holding back my career (while pushing Beyonce).
..Needless to say, “SKIN-TONE RECRIMINATION” was just-only bubbling beneath the surface of THOSE debates/rumors/well-wishes! Even then, with a “wardrobe malfunction” (which was roundly panned and ridiculed by the urban blogs as “STAGED”); even with a rumored (SPIN/LIES) coming TV-show – I’M STILL UNABLE TO MOVE UNITS.. (Massive SIGH)..
You know, I’m soooo lucky I whored myself to all of those White/European men: I got that X-Factor U.K. Gig!
..NOW with A-L-L of the aforementioned said, I’d like to NOW “mentor and judge” upcoming talent. Long-story short: Just do as I say, NOT as I do (And should all-else fail: there’s still a market for black p****)..!!
Oh (before I forget), you can catch me on CBreezy’s ‘F.A.M.E’ tour. I’ll use him. I’m really “Team-Rihanna” and I’m only “playing him”! I don’t know how I managed to get myself on his tour – he (and his team) are really dumb-a** idiots for putting me on; SEE A FOOL, USE A FOOL..!!!

Lay It On Me is still not officially a single (-_-)….The radio adds date is changed to 8/16 when the song could have been dominating radio and flying up the charts by now, which would have given her album the additional push it needs….UGH!
