Rock In Rio 2011 – Katy Perry

Published: Friday 23rd Sep 2011 by Rashad

TGJ ‘faves’ Rihanna and Katy Perry are just two of the big names who will take the stage tonight at the 2011 Rock In Rio.  Also featuring headlining acts Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Ke$ha, Shakira, and a host of international acts, the packed festival is being held in beautiful Rio de Janeiro.

Fans of these acts can click here for the livestream as the concert, scheduled for September 23rd-25th, 29th-30th, and October 1st-2nd, is happening right now!

With Rihanna set to take the stage later tonight, fans can check out Katy’s live set after the jump:

While we all know Mrs. Brand can indeed sing, her vocal showings tonight were certainly not her best.  Fans and critics alike have criticized the starlet for the inconsistencies of her live performances.  But, like gal pal Rihanna, some of these vocals were just criminal.  And certainly, not suitable for minors.
