Though fans of Pop belle JoJo can expect her new album ‘Jumping Trains‘ to hit stores at the start of 2012, the song bird has made quite the return to notoriety in coming weeks.
Receiving high praise for her cover of Beyonce‘s ‘Crazy In Love‘, the singer has also lent her vocals to a number of Pop’s most recognizable numbers, from Bruno Mars‘ ‘Grenade‘ to Rihanna‘s ‘What’s My Name‘.
Now, she has paid tribute to Amy Winehouse during her set at the Hard Rock Cafe last night.
Watch her perform ‘You Know I’m No Good‘ below…
Very few will ever be able to harness the raw emotion and power Winehouse used to bring life to her music, and as of this performance, JoJo is one of those few.
To say that Levesque did justice to this song would be an understatement.
Belting without ever screaming and channeling the heartfelt emotion in the song through the pure filter that is her voice, her delivery of this classic will only serve to add value to her oft overlooked talent and her creative cause as a whole.
We can only help her album is just as perfect as this was.
