No? Well that was the sweet sound of champagne bottles being popped open at XL Recordings, London.
For this week- more so than any other week this year- has given them much cause to celebrate.
Because as of this global chart week, the album ‘21‘ by their artist Adele has sold over 12 million copies worldwide.

The first album since 2002 to do so within the space of 10 months , it rose to #2 this week with 245,000 units moved within the last seven days.
With the single ‘Set Fire To The Rain‘ due for release in the US this coming Monday, sales of the LP are expected to increase even further which would help it return to the top spot on the Billboard 200 in a fortnight’s time.
Elsewhere on the Global Album Chart, Cher Lloyd’s ‘Sticks & Stones‘ debuts with sales of 57,000 units placing it at #14, 20 places above Rihanna‘s ‘Loud’ which resides at #34 after 51 weeks in the chart.
On the singles front, ‘We Found Love’ by Ms. Fenty spends it third week atop the United World Track Chart.
Below it at #5 is Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ whose sisters ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ and ‘Set Fire To The Rain‘ hold court at #19 and #25 respectively.
