Last week, Rihanna‘s smash hit single ‘We Found Love‘ shot to the top spot of the United World Track Chart after the release of its generally well received video.
Now, following the trend of many a generic dance number, the cut has lost its position as the highest selling single in the world, despite currently being #1 in the US.
All the details below…
Now residing at the #2 spot, ‘Love‘ is one chart position above Maroon 5‘s ‘Moves Like Jagger‘ and three spots above Adele‘s ‘Someone Like You‘.
On the album’s front, Fenty’s ‘Loud’ holds court at #23, moving 32,000 units in the last week.
This places it 21 spots below Adele’s ’21’ which lost out to being this weeks #1 due to the release of Colplay‘s ‘Mylo Xyloto‘, despite selling 245,000 copies in the last seven days alone, pushing its total global sales figure to 11.67 million.
Beyonce‘s ‘4‘ is #33 with 27,000 copies sold, exactly 1,000 more copies moved than Jay Z and Kanye West‘s ‘Watch The Throne’ ,which is this weeks #34.
