To say Pop force Britney Spears has had a tumultuous few years would quite the understatement. Indeed, between her well publicised personal issues and career mishaps, it’s fair to say a ray of a good news is just what the doctor ordered.
And what good news it is. For, according to a number of reliable sources, the star is now engaged to long-term boyfriend Jason Trawick.

Trawick is said to have proposed to the ‘Baby One More Time’ singer, who he used to manage, last night – on his 40th birthday.
The pair, who have been dating for almost 3 years, were initially coy about their union, however recent times have seen Spears become increasingly open about her love for the man who now serves as marketing consultant for her “brand”.
Beyond that role, Trawick has cemented his presence within the family of Spears (who is 10 years his junior). Sources close to camp Britney attest to him being extremely close with her children Sean, 6, and Jayden, 5, as well as her father (and conservator of estate) Jamie – who he requested her hand in marriage from.
The marriage will be Spears’ third. She was first married to childhood friend, Jason Alexander, in 2004 – for 55 hours. And Kevin Federline from 2004-2006.

Granted music is our focus here at your favourite site, we can’t but be happy for Ms. Spears. Here’s hoping the joy in her private life re-lights the spark missing in her professional. Or, perhaps, gives her the security she needs to step away from the limelight and enjoy what else life has to offer. After all, she has done did it all when it comes to her career.
