Though it will always remain a difficult pill to swallow, racism- believe it or not- still exists.
Indeed, that fact was all too real for supermodel Rihanna, who was the victim of a racially motivated assault at a Portuguese hotel last night, hours after performing for fans in the country as part of her ‘Loud Tour’.

Taking her Twitter page, she explained:
Good enough to clean the beds but not good enough to sleep in them.
If this story proves anything it is that racial intolerance should never be taken lightly until it is completely eradicated.
For if the like of Rihanna – who we can be sure was armed with a team of minders when this occurred- can fall prey to such hatred, one can only imagine how daunting this experience would be had Rihanna been the ‘average ethnic‘ walking the street without anyone there to defend them.
Here’s to hoping the said swine was dealt with accordingly.
