Since Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s baby Blue Ivy arrived last week, the net has been filled with gag after gag surrounding the youngster’s “inevitable” success.
Fast forward few days and the punchlines are now fact. Aged just 4 days old, the youngest of the Carter clan has made Billboard history.
With a crying credit on father Jay Z’s ‘Glory‘, which came in at #74 on this week’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Songs tally, Blue (or B.I.C, as credited) becomes the youngest “artist” to achieve a placement on the chart in its history.
According to Nielsen, ‘Glory’ arrives as the week’s highest new entry on the R&B/Hip-Hop count, with 1.7 million audience impressions on 54 radio stations.
And in a heavy dose of irony, the cut serves as Jay-Z’s 107th career entry on the chart, akin to Ivy’s January 7th birth date. 1/07. Get it?
Whether you do or don’t, one thing is for sure: Notorious B.I.C is already snatching wigs from the cradle!
