As the writer behind some of the world’s greatest hits- Toni Braxton’s ‘Unbreak My Heart’ and Aerosmith‘s ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ to name just two- Diane Warren is in many ways one of the most iconic writers Popular music has ever been graced with.
Now, after penning Beyonce‘s ‘I Was Here‘, which features on the singer’s album ‘4‘, the songstress has spoken on her relationship with Grammy winner and why she says she would do absolutely anything for her.
Her comments below…
Speaking to MTV, she revealed:
I did the Beyonce song on her album, “I Was Here,” and I’m working with her on the music for “A Star Is Born.” I think she’s going to be great in that movie.
I was there when she sang my song that’s on her album and seeing that process, that’s a good story too. I literally called Jay-Z and played it on the phone for him. I played it for him, he had her call me and long story short she was in the studio two days later.
Seeing her work ethic, she was there for three hours singing better than anybody and I said, “Okay, that’s amazing,” and she said, “No I’m just getting started. I’m going to go get dinner and come back.
Adding:
It’s not an accident when people are that successful. It’s a) you’re talented and b) the work ethic that separates the great from the good.
I have to say, she is awesome. She is such a nice person. I would do anything for her.
